Offsite Design + Facilitation

Getting the whole team into one room at the same time is a challenge – and a big  investment. Too often, all the work goes into the scheduling logistics. Deciding on the why, the what and the how are often put on weekly meeting agendas and punted from week to week because there are competing views and no clear path for planning.

Now, more than ever, using the time and energy of your team intentionally is crucial for retention, engagement and alignment. This is where investing in professional expertise will transform the experience and everyone’s investment.

"You don’t need people in the office every day. The evidence is clear: hybrid work boosts productivity, creativity, well being and retention. Great collaborations don’t involve constant contact. They alternate between deep work and bursts of interaction.”

How it Works

It starts with a conversation. We talk about what you want to get out of your offsite. We have a few basic questions we use to assess where your team is thriving and where it wants to grow. We use what we learn to propose a program structure, a schedule, and an approach to facilitation – self-facilitated, professional facilitator or hybrid. Some of the common offsite themes we work with are strategy development, improving communication, team building, culture and values alignment and entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.

Connect

Connection is the lifeblood of good work. Creativity, productivity, resilience, engagement - are all grounded in connection. When teams are connected to each other and to the purpose of their work, they excel. All of our program design starts with cultivating and deepening connections.

Energize

What sustains people to continue to bring their best work every day? We help individuals and teams discover the regenerative aspects of their work and ability to tap into it regularly. Finding individual and collective sources of energy inside of work are a key to recognizing, addressing, and preventing burnout.

Trust

Everyone wants to feel trust at work. We want to trust our colleagues and feel like people trust us, we want to trust that our bosses have our backs and our organizations will keep their commitments. Trust is hard to establish and easy to break. Offsites are great opportunities to develop, nurture, or rebuild trust.

Purpose

For work to be regenerative, to be meaningful, to have dignity, it has to have purpose. Recognizing and staying connected to the why of the work is how to keep people engaged and growing. We use offsites to reinvigorate the sense of individual and shared purpose.

Start Planning

Give your team the chance to connect, engage and develop the skills and mindsets needed to combat burnout and do great work together.
